Blue and Green Day
The Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast has partnered with Stuyvesant Plaza in celebration of National Donate Life Month for the week of April 8th–14th. The Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast posts a message in their windows to bring attention to donation while Stuyvesant Plaza lights their sign green. The public is urged to also participate in National Donate Life Blue & Green Day (4/14) by wearing blue and green, sharing the Donate Life message, and emphasizing the significance of signing up as an organ, eye, and tissue donor.
