The Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast has designated this ultimate recognition to be presented in honor of a person, organization or "in memory" of those who have a special place in our hearts.
This award has been established to help us continue our mission to "give the Gift of Sight" along with providing cutting edge technology regarding corneal transplants in a state of the art processing facility.
A not for profit organization, the Lions Eve Bank of the Northeast was founded in 1952. Since 1952 the eye bank has restored sight to thousands of people suffering with corneal blindness. The Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast is a vital link in the chain that connects both donors and recipients of much needed eye tissue. Serving 50 counties in New York State, Great Barrington, Massachusetts along with hospitals in Western Vermont.

The Sight Society of Northeastern New York (Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast) is a private not for profit organization dedicated to providing ocular tissue for transplantation, medical education and research.
